Toba Lake, The wonderful place...Lake Toba (Indonesian: Danau Toba) is a largest volcanic lake in the world, 100 km long and 30 km wide, and 505 m. (1,666 ft.) at its deepest point, in the middle of the northern part of the Indonesian island of Sumatra with a surface elevation of about 900 m (3,000 feet).
Lake Toba is the current live ranking of the nominees to become a New 7 Wonder of Nature. The top 77 Official Nominees will be eligible for consideration by the New7Wonders of Nature Panel of Experts for inclusion in the group of 21 finalist candidates.
The ranking is updated twice a day.
